I've ordered cards form Bob at QSL Works twice. First set used his stock artwork, and the last set used a couple photo's I supplied. Bob was easy to work with, answered e-mails promptly, and helped me come up with a nice QSL card. The service is first rate, prices reasonable, and the cards are great. I always wanted some custom QSLs. Not something everyone else has and personalized to the area where I live. So I was attracted to the foreign printers at first. The overseas printers have good prices and people seemed happy with the quality, but most of the time it took months to get QSLs and not as easy to deal with because of the distance.

Well I came across QSLWorks from one review I found here. I went to their web site and saw their prices - Could this be true? The prices were about the same as some of the overseas printers - and the company was right here in the U.S!

So I sent an inquiry. I had taken some 3.2MB photos of Cincinnati and wanted to know if those were good enough to use on a QSL. I was told not a problem. So on the Thursday before Labor Day (2003), I emailed them the pictures - 8 of them - and said I wanted him to come up with something creative. I also explained how I wanted a custom back (custom back is included in price and you can even have a photo on the back).

Twenty-four hours later I received a proof via email. Not exactly what I wanted but close. Told him the changes I wanted and less than a day later another proof. Actually he sent me several more proofs with some changes here and there to give me an idea of what can be done.

Asked him for a few more changes and I think after four tries in four days, he got it the way I wanted. I approved the design on Labor Day. One week later 500 full color QSLs were in my mailbox. Perfect and just the way I wanted them. Great quality and really fast.

If you want something personalized, fast service and a reasonable price, this is the place to go for QSLs. Not to mention, you are buying from an American company - why go anywhere else?

Hi Bob, Ahhhh, the smell of newly minted cards has graced my qth! They are terrific, and as you said, "I wont be disappointed", and I most certainly wasn't. I will certainly look forward to sending a card that's a little bit different, but in keeping with my "Keep It Simple" principal.
